KUbikes offer various components to choose .
If you are unsure which components are best suited for your desired application, we would like to support you in your choice with the following explanations:

Tires
Schwalbe Black Jack 24 x 1.90: MTB tires for terrain and unpaved paths. Very good grip thanks to many tread blocks and best suspension comfort thanks to large air volume.
Kenda Small Block Eight 24 x 1.95: All-round tire, ideal for asphalt and light terrain. Very wide and yet light folding tire with very good rolling properties and large volume.
Schwalbe Rocket Ron 24 x 2.10: Light MTB folding tyre, for terrain and unpaved paths. Very good grip thanks to many tread blocks and best suspension comfort thanks to large air volume.

Brakes
Shimano disc brakes: very smooth-running hydraulic disc brakes with a good pressure point
Magura MT4 disc brake: very smooth-running hydraulic disc brake, minimal hand force for very good braking effect, minimal weight

Saddle / seat post
52 parts: slim ergonomic shape, comfortable padding; integrated aluminum seat post
KUbikes Carbon: super light, narrow shape; Carbon seat post

Seat clamp
Without quick release: bolt with hexagon socket, tool required to adjust the saddle height, therefore theft-proof to a limited extent
Quick release: Tool-free adjustment of the saddle height and therefore quick adjustment possible at any time

Drive
10 or 11 gears: The fastest gear is always the same for all drives. The spread, gradation and smallest possible mountain gear are different. The following applies here: The more teeth the largest sprocket has, the steeper mountains can be driven
Variant 1: 1x10 Shimano 11-42 teeth consisting of: Shimano Deore rear derailleur and shifter, 10-speed cassette, 11-42 teeth
Variant 2: 1x11 Shimano XT 11-46 teeth consisting of: Shimano XT rear derailleur and Shimano shifter, Shimano XT cassette

Crank / chainring
KUbikes aluminum crank, chainring with 28 teeth: Lightest possible gear, enables riding in extremely steep terrain. Pedaling is therefore not always possible when driving downhill. Moderate top speed. Chainring with a special tooth shape that keeps the chain better on the chainring (narrow/wide). Decreases the possibility of dropping the chain
KUbikes aluminum crank, chainring with 32 teeth: heavier gear than chainring with 28 teeth, enables riding at a higher top speed. Gradeability reduced when driving uphill. Chainring with a special tooth shape that keeps the chain better on the chainring (narrow/wide). Decreases the possibility of dropping the chain

Fork
Rigid fork: made of carbon
Suspension fork: 52parts RLC-32, travel 80 mm, with lockout and adjustable rebound

Wheelset
KUbikes 24 performance: Shimano hub black, spokes black,
Tape: Supacaz Super Sticky Kush
Seat Binder: Tarmac integrated wedge
