Yamaha NZ does a huge disservice with the poor state of tune when buying new from the dealer. I had to rejet - the pilot(52 down to 45, main(180 down to 178) jet needle(raise the clip from postion 3 to 2) to stop killing the spark plugs and to make the bike reliable at sea level and up to 1000m (2019 model).
Improvements - lower first gear.
- requires heavier throttle spring to avoid unwanted acceleration over rough ground.
